Creating Money from Nothing

The Internet is a world of its own, a world without borders of any kind, be it region, age, gender, or education. – Everyone who has access to a computer can enter it and start some kind of a virtual life.

So many flee from their own insufficient reality without even knowing that they do.. In the net they can be whoever, whatever they want to be not who they are forced to be in their real world.

In my “Alternative Reality Blog” I started off to analyze the persona, psychological aspects of “Living in Cyberia”. And when I - searching for ways to get traffic and to get published – slipped into internet marketing, I found, that most of it refers to online business as well.

Being able to make money from nothing – this dream moves so many people into internet marketing. And it is more then obvious when one considers the of all these ponzis and scams, some so easily to see through that one must really wonder how they can keep, how anybody could be stupid enough to believe in them and join; others are more sophisticated and even seem to work for many of the participants.

“How to Get Rich in the Net” (or a similar title) – this book is not free, so I didn’t read it – but I can imagine how many buy it all the time, and it sure would not make the author poor.

This is the surefire way to sell anything; the basic build of a “killer”-sales letter:

Remind and convince your potential customer he misses something, explain him what it is (if need be until he believes it), then tell him you (and only you) can offer the solution to his problem,

He is sitting there in the safety of his home, taking a “daring” step into the internet, if not into a somehow illusive world already, therefore perhaps just the more ready to take out his credit card and type some ciphers on his keyboard.. – Add a little time pressure, and reveal the prize long after he has realized his need – and the sale is made.

If you have value to sell, even at a reasonable prize, you can count your money happily and with a good conscience. – Your dream is fulfilled.

It is a dream, not an illusion, and in spite of all the scams and less obvious deceptions I am still convinced that it can be done.

One can make money from almost nothing in the internet. Provided one is careful, keeps a clear mind, and never loses sight of this thin borderline between real and virtual world, realistic chances and wishful thinking. When you then come up with a sudden good, unique idea or concept you have made it.

I am still waiting for my good idea, for one I also have the means or technical knowledge to put into action…. But who knows – perhaps turning more to writing again is what will work for me?

To start writing articles I have this here website. (I got it free, in a quality I seldom found in free sites, and there is really no catch). I am going to write a series of articles here, from isi(ght)de view of a beginner, about what it really means to start Internet Affiliate Marketing; some things even the most well-meaning serious guru cannot tell, because he has simply forgotten the immediate situation, and also, because the times have changed.

The internet jungle is indeed a different one today from what it was only four years ago. (Wished I had thought of online marketing then, but I still had my job.) (Did you ever realize how many “old“– I may say that, meaning those of my age – people are in internet marketing? The easiest, and for us mostly the only way to keep in business. And young persons up to thirty, who grew up with the net; only a handful in-betweens.)

So, dear reader stay tuned for the remake of my first article on this site into - well, let’s see how many chapters, and read the other articles on my site. In addition I will add more related articles I find in the net. Or perhaps you have written or planned an affiliate marketing article? – Or detected some scam in this field?
